Have you installed all the necessary drivers for the phone including the PC Suite? Before you proceed, switch off the phone, wait for some time, switch it on again. Similiarly restart your PC. Now do not start any other program in the PC. Open PC suite. Connect your cable to the PC. Now connect the cable to your mobile. Wait for a few seconds. If you do not hear any sound or see any other information check if your mobile has something called cable in the connectivity. If so check the settings. The settings if any should also comply with your PC suite. So check your PC settings too. Also for bluetooth, make sure you pair both the devices. Reply if you still have problems

Try resetting the phone to factory settings. Close all other programs running in the background in your phone.

You need to make sure all the drivers needed are installed as when you connect a phone it has few drivers that need to be installed before you can access full functionality.Go to device manager and look for hardware and check if there is any ! (exclamation note) in yellow next to usb...Also you need to pair both devices with preferably a passcode for the bluetooth to function. You may also need to set up incoming port and outgoing port connection. It's not a big problem but it might take some time to solve as you may need to restart pc etc..I hope I have solved this problem of yours and let me know if you need more help.

Get yourself a proper uninstall program (like this for e.g. My Uninstaller)

Uninstall everything Nokia program (incl. cable connectivity drivers) from your PC.

Re-install PC Suite using the DVD that came with the phone.do not install the latest PC Suite from the web.
in my case the problem lies with the connectivity cable driver..i am using xp home sp 2and pc suite v7.0.7.0....but had to install an older version ofconnectivity cable driver ..namely v6.85.10.0.... most of the times going back to the older version works like charm... i wud even advice u to go for nokia PC suite rather than N95 PC suite....
if the above doesnt work..... Rename file wdf01000.sys to name wdf01000.sys.old from C:WINNTsystem32drivers folder. and check it out and see......

with respect to the bluetooth issue..... from PC suite uninstall option select the REPAIR option.

unpair the phone in PC Suite get connected wizard and repair it (do this if hte above did not help)

Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator is the most trouble free with Nokia PC Suite so always make it a point to choose microsoft rather than choosing anyother brand....

Check PC Suite requirements from here:

http://europe.nokia.com/A4678152
beyond this u ve virtually exhausted all options other than calling nokia support...
kindly rate me for the service provided..... if any issues in tha above mentioned procedures...... get back to us..... good luck

Hello,

  1. Get the PC suit on your computer,
  2. Click and open the PC suit,

  4. The set up wizard will pop up, then you follow the instruction from there, asking your preferred mode of connection " Cable connection, Infra red connection or bluetooth connection, Make sure your computer has a infra red port or bluetooth on it, or you get the necessary infra red or bluetooth dongle and connect it to your computer.

I WANT TO CONNECT N 72 TO MY PC

N72 can be connected to your PC in two ways.
1. By USB cable
2.Via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth means you need to buy a device called Bluetooth dongle to provide bluetooth connectivity to your system.

For both usb and bluetooth, you need a software called Nokia PC Suite to access the mobile contents and for data transfer

Cant connectvia bluetooth to phone

you need to have installed the Nokia PC Suite, or at a minimum the Nokia cable driver (it includes the bluetooth driver).

you can get it from
http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/pc-suites
or
www.nokiausa.com/.../nokia-pc-suites/compatibility-and-download

you need the version that supports YOUR phone,
alternatively, use the CD that came with your phone to install the driver.

How to send photo from mobile to our computer

there are 3 ways

1.
You can use the USB data cable to transfer data between
the device and a compatible PC or a printer supporting
PictBridge. You can also use the USB data cable with
Nokia PC Suite.
To activate the device for data transfer or image
printing, connect the data cable. Confirm "USB data
cable connected. Select mode.
" and select from the
following options:
Nokia mode — to use the device for PC Suite
Printing & media — to use the device with a
PictBridge compatible printer or with your
compatible PC
Data storage — to connect to a PC that does not
have Nokia software and use the device as a data
storage device
To change the USB mode, select Menu > Settings >
Connectivity > USB data cable and the desired USB
mode.

2.
Set up a Bluetooth connection
Select Menu > Settings > Connectivity >
Bluetooth and from the following options:
Bluetooth — Select On to activate the Bluetooth
function. indicates that Bluetooth is activated.
My phone's visibility — to define how your device
is shown to other Bluetooth devices
Search for audio enhancements — to search for
compatible Bluetooth audio devices. Select the
device that you want to connect to the phone.
Active devices — to check which Bluetooth
connection is currently active
Paired devices — to search for any Bluetooth device
in range. Select New to list any Bluetooth device in
range. Select a device and Pair. Enter an agreed
Bluetooth passcode of the device (up to 16
characters) to pair the device to your device. You
must only give this passcode when you connect to
the device for the first time. Your device connects to
the other device, and you can start data transfer.
My phone's name — to set the device name for
Bluetooth connections
