The check engine light is on ?? Yes? Check the pre catalitic converter Oxygen sensor or upstream sensor. If the car has in excess of 100,000 miles it's probably bad. If it has less than 100,000 take it back to the dealer because these things have a warranty that is federally mandated for 100,000.

what engine? The fuel filter is in the fuel tank, Spark plugs should be replaced, throttle body cleaned, and the truck generally checked over, battery , belts, brakes, tires ect. Spark plugs, trans fluid, filter, transfer case fluid change, are all due at 100k. You should have the 100K service done. Of course they base that on if you have been following the service schedule. Your owners manual will list all things that are due.

~ Cooling system flush and refill every 40,000 to 100,000 miles

~ Belt and hose replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles or 5 to 8 years

~ Engine timing belt replacement every 60,000 to 100,000 miles (when equipped) or 5 to 8 years

Provided the belt that is to be used is a high quality belt such as a Gates brand the belt can safely last for 80,000 to 90,000 miles before needing to be changed. As for the original belt usually for hondas it's 100,000 miles Toyotas about the same 100,000 to 110,000 miles, check with your local dealership's service department for you cars original belt Suzukis and kias are about 90,000 miles.

timing belt needs to be replaced at 100,000 miles, auto transmission fluid and filter replaced, that is really the only things, of course u check all fluid levels, the big maint is the 100,000 mile service

Go get an OBDII check and it should tell you, i dont think there is any corrielation between the milage and the check engine light

u need the timing belt replaced like yesterday, u are playing russian roulette with it breaking. also the plugs should have been repalced at 100,000 miles.

that depends on the miles on the truck. spark plugs every 100,000 miles, other ignition parts inspect and replace as ness, fuel and air filter every 30,000 miles. all belts and hoses should be inspected as part of any service.
