It's a faulty motherboard. Won't recognize nor charge the battery. Have seen it dozens of times as a Dell Tech.

If you can swap with another battery (someone you know has the same laptop maybe?), but I've been called out to change many a motherboard because the battery wasn't recognized.

Best way to clean a laminate "wood" floor. I use Pine Sol and lately have been noticing streak marks and dullness.

The old standby of glass cleaner should do the trick. Use a spray bottle, and spray a small 4x4 section at a time, let it sit for about 2min. , then wipe up with rags. Do NOT let it dry on the floor. You have a buildup of product on the floor. The pine cleaner has a small amount of oil in it and it builds up over time. For a good glass cleaner- I would suggest ZEP glass cleaner. For daily cleaning- I would suggest white vinegar 1 part vinegar to 3 parts HOT water. It will sanitize, and also remove salt stains from the floor left by winter boots and dog footprints.

I would call EA and tell them your code does not work. I would also edit your question so that someone doesn't take your unique code and it it for themselves.

My Activa 130 makes a clacking sound when I sew. It is 10 years old. What do you think is wrong? Can I repair this or do I need to take it to be serviced?

I would take it to a Bernina repairman, nice machine and well worth getting it serviced by a qualified technician.

I presume that you've tried the obvious things like a new needle and checking the bobbin case is in correctly.

Send it for servicing. The liquid may have seeped into the motherboard and spoilt something.

If you still want to try, but it near a warm, not hot heat source. It may speed up the evaporating of the persisting liquid in the laptop.

I pulled the plug right under the center of the block. What did I do?

You simply took a plug out as far as I know. It's a drain plug like they used to put in them years ago and you've done no harm as far as I know. I'd put it back in and start the engine up. There is nothing in the crankcase but the crankshaft. There is a plug under the cam chest but it's just a drain plug as well. That might be the one you took out. If so, no harm has been done.

Good Luck

Model 2600 diesel tractor-starter motor runs constantly-solenoid is ok-but motor never engages flywheel.

I have the same problem on a gas 2600. Sometimes it engages and sometimes it doesn't. you can replace just the drive end and gear, that's going to be my next shot. I've had the starter off several times and cleaned and inspected it and it "appears" to be working correctly. I even took it to the starter guys we've always used and they found nothing wrong.

Oven door won't go back on

well there is one where u have to put a pin through the hinge to lock it in a certain place to remove and reinstall it..kinda tricky. locks it in the semi-open position. others have pieces that swivel down to lock the hinge in that position for removal and reinstall. it's not easy if you've never done it. :)

Model 1697.m Bissell carpet cleaner.

You are going to want to replace the water pump on the machine. Also you might want to look into replacing the belt that runs it. If that still des not working, you probably have a clog in the hose coming form the heater element. This is VERY common with the Bissells. Good Luck!
