Runs fine, compressor comes on, just blows air that is not cool
These unit can be recharged. 134A. You NEED A SERVICE TECH THAT KNOWS HOW TO CHARGE UNIT.RUS
You most likely have a leak. That can be recharged but at RV repair labor prices you may consider replacing unit because of age. Installing a new one is pretty easy as I have installed hundreds. It only takes an about an hour with a buddy to help you.
The RV roof top AC systems are sealed systems. To recharge the AC system, access ports must be installed and R134a then recharged back into the system. This can be costly and will not always work to resolve the issue. The manufacturers do not recommend recharging the AC systems due to the fact that they hold such a small amount of charge that when they do leak out damage occurs to the compressor. In my opinion you are better off having a new AC installed (rather than paying $300-$400 to charge it and it still not work or bite the dust a month down the road and you still have to purchase a new unit) and then you have the peace of mind knowing that the unit is new and covered by a two year warranty...
