Question about Televison & Video
Yes, The lamp in your unit is going bad and may also have a problem with the digital board. Sony has had 2 class action lawsuits against them and made agreements to repair " free of charge" this defect. www.sonysxrdtvclassaction.com This is one of the links pertaining to the 50" and 60" SXRD, However when all was said and done there were several more models included in this issue. I use to have an actual copy of all the TV's listed in this, I just can't find it. Sony's direct customer support # is 1-239-768-7547 m-f 9-10 s&s 10-7. Give them a quick call with model # and serial # if you can get to the back of the set. If they give you the runaround post a comment and I will dig thru my files to get you a copy of the settlement. Hope this helps
