    Kevin,

There is no "clicking". The entire fridge sounds normal, fan operates, but I come home to a defrosted freeezer. Where are the replaceable parts that I might be able to change out.

If compressor is clicking it will be the relay, If the compressor is cold not making any noise it sounds like the defrost timer stuck in defrost cycle..if it is a mecanical time advance it ..if compressor starts replace timer...some refridge defrost timers are built into control board so anly way to find out is replace board. Hope this helps...feel free to comment again if i can assist you further.

Thanks
kevin

Self defrost mechanism has a problem. Check the defrost timer and defrost heater element for proper operation. Ice buildup is the culprit.
If you unplug and defrost overnight, replug, it will work fine till the ice builds up again.

check the start relay located on the compressor when this gets fur in it it tends to burn out much quicker then without pets. This is the plastic piece located on the compressor that turns the compressor on you would also need to pull the unit out and take off the back panel and clean around the compressor and start relay area this way as well if you have never done this there would be alot of build up if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helepd it allows me to help others in similar situations p.s remove the start relay and shake it in your hand if you are hearing something jingling on the inside of the relay replace the relay Thanks Rick

Freezer is frosting, water pooling below in fridge

When in doubt call a professional, the ongoing defrost problem is not what should be happening. It is possible that the machine simply wasn't unplugged long enough but without pulling the back cover of the freezer off you aren't going to know that. You may need a timer or a defrost thermostat. If you do decide to diagnose on your own, pull the back cover out of the freezer and defrost, a hair dryer helps.

check wiring into outlet and at breaker that feeds outlet. you may be losing high volts at or to the switch. if possible check power into the stat when the condition occurs. this will telll you if stat is bad or power into it aka the outlet is bad. you may be jiggling wires in the outlet enough to fix short term each time you replug to outlet or get a good heavy extension cord and plug in else where to seee if problem goes away.Good luck
