Question about GE Spacemaker JVM1640SJ Microwave Oven
Fan runs when the door is closed. When I open the door the fan stops and I can set the programming however unit will not heat as the timer does not start when I close the door. I can not find any evidence of overheating or damage. I found three thermostat sensors, one on the panel below control pad is shorted(no resistance), one on cover of the magnatron is shorted(no resistance), and one beside the control panel is open(infinite). Should all of these thermostats be open when the unit is not warm and unnplugged for several hours? The unit is 3 years old and this the first problem I've had. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
