Question about Heating & Cooling
If you have a "Heat Pump" there are many causes for your reveresing valve not to close or open depending on which way your system works. You would be wise to have a qualiforned technician test your system to find the cause of problem.
Here is a list of things thast could cause the problem:
control wire for reversing valve disconnected or broken
thermostat gone bad
reversing valve coil defective
defrost timer bad (some makes)
system wired incorrectly
