Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
It won't spin either.
I believe the spin is locked out until water drains.
The problem may be the pump as a previous user suggested, however it could also be either a clog or hard water deposits.
Until you open the machine and visually inspect the pump, you can't state the problem.
You can measure the voltage going to the pump in the spin cycle. If the voltage is there and the pump is not running you have your problem. Get some pinch off pliers and clamp off the hose going to the pump from the tub and you only have to deal with the water in the drain hose and pump when you pull the cleanout catcher to see if it is just plugged with something.
