Question about Whirlpool LSR5132PQ Top Load Washer
You have a siphon condition. The outlet of the drain tube needs an air gap between it and the water for anti-siphoning installation.
Check that your house drain is not plugged or that the trap is not obstructed - preventing the air gap from forming properly and backflowing into your washer.
