Question about Maytag MAH2400A Front Load Washer
We have had previous issues with change being caught up in the pump in our washing machine. A repairman demonstrated how to remove the pump, fish out the culporate quarter blocking the flow, and return the pump. This we have done previously with success. This time, however, when my hubby removed the problem, replaced the pump and turned the washing machine back on after reloading the soaking laundry, it turns on for approximately 10 seconds, then flashes "OE" with alternating tones (kind of like a siren). Water still sounds like it's pumping to the machine, but now our clothes are still trapped inside the machine. The auto-unlock didn't occur after three minutes of the power being turned off as well. We have to try something, as this is the "week between paydays" and we can't afford a repairman to come out for six more days - by that time, the laundry will be rather ripe and we will be clean clothes-less. HELP!!
Did you connect the wires back to the pump. The neutral runs through the pump winding and to the door interlock. Check the connections on the drain pump and the harness in general. Sounds like a broken connection somewhere.

Hello & Welcome to FixYa
ND error in your Maytag Front Load washer indicates no drain issue. To start with check the drain hose for any clogs and try cleaning it, then check restriction in drain pump assembly or loose wire at the pump. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.
