Polaroid a300 camera is saying sd protected

everytime i try to take a pic, the camera says sd protected, it says it even when i try to format the memory card

Well, make sure you have checked the small gray tab on the left side of the sd card. It needs to be in the unlocked position. Too bad for me, because i have the same problem and my sd card isn't locked...
