If it is a mechanical machine, you can apply 1-2 drops of good quality sewing machine oil or liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube to any place where metal rubs against metal. AVOID belts, plastic gears, etc. Be sure to also move stitch selector lever and dial mechanisms.
The one thing on a sewing machine that needs the most repair work is the belt. The sewing machine belt is a piece of rubber that makes the wheel turn and the needle go up and down in a sewing motion. If the belt is in bad shape, the sewing machine will not work. Sometimes while sewing you may notice a burnt rubber smell. When you smell this, you know it is time to change the belt. Changing a sewing machine belt is fairly easy; just make sure you have the proper belt.
Good morning If you have got the belt, I would remove the old one and put the new one on as the old one disappears. I used to change belts that way when I had a machine. Enjoy your coffee Kolbrun
Instructions to change the timing belt are on page 19 of the manual. If you need a manual, do a "save as" at this web site.

Unfortunately your explanation is not clear enough, have you changed the drive belt or the cam belt ? if you have changed the drive belt there shoulkd be an adjuster so the belt fits on nicely
to change the belt of your machine, just lossen the bolt where the belt put in. if you do not know how to do it, go to the sewing machine store and asked for assistance to change the belt of your machine.
Have a look at this: remove the top cover and have a look (don't put your fingers in !) at the plastic gear in the middle of the mechanism (left side of he selection keys). It often cracks and then the motor is able to turn the whole mechanism for part of the circumference of this gear and when it passes on the crack, it locks or slows down until the crack is passed. You need to have it changed if this is the case.
