Question about Gable (53315) Wall Mount Fan
Last year my gable fan seemed to work fine. I have an optional switch for it that I turn off durning the winter. Two weeks ago I turned the switch on and nothing happened....no fan. I checked the breaker and it is fine. Any ideas or do I just need to get a new fan???
As it's protected by circuit breaker it also might be fused, so check for fuses.
Next just dig to the wiring and measure the resistance betveen Live and Neutral using simple multimeter. If there's no reading then there might be a small fuse (or thermofuse) attached to the windings, make sure this one is fine, if yes then motor windings are burned and you'll need new fan, otherwise just replace the fuse.
