Whats the solution to fixing error code SC544 on Ricoh MP C3002

The Ricoh copier error code SC544 / 544 is a fusing lamp overheat error code. (This is a hardware problem)

This error can mean the:
PSU board is bad
IOB board is bad
BICU board is bad

To reset this error try the code:
"Clear Mode"+107+"Clear/Stop" hold for 5s.
Turn ON and OFF the Main Switch.

If the problem persists you may need to contact a local service technician to take a look at your copier.

SC 544 is a fuser overheat error. This could be caused by power outage or fluctuation in the power.
go to service mode. Hold down both "home" and "simple screen" for about 5 sec. and then press "user tools"
once in service mode go to SP5810 reset fuser error.
and reboot the machine.

Reseting SC 543 error code on Ricoh copier

Press CLEAR MODE(yellow) key,
Press 1 , 0 , 7
Press and hold down CLEAR/STOP (red) key for more 5 sec.
Press in the SP Mode( on the touch pane)

Go to sp5810 and reset SC code

Open the front door turn OFF the power main switch, and turn it ON

SC 544
Heating roller thermopile (center) error 3 The thermopile detected a temperature over 260?C. • TRIAC short, AC drive board defective • Defective IOB 2 • Defective BCU
Related SC code: SC 553, SC563 1. Do SP5810 to cancel the SC fusing code. 2. Replace the AC drive board. 3. Replace the IOB 2. 4. Replace the BCU.
GO TO SERVICE MODE AND SP5810 to Clear - Check temp inputs - SP5803 150, 151, 152

SC542, SC543, SC544, SC546,
These codes are related to fuser temperature. Make sure that power source voltage are not low. check thermisters, fusing lamps etc. To reset this code press "All clear" yellow key, enter 107 and press the red key for some seconds. Sevice mode will be displayed, enter SP 5-810 (SC code reset) and select "1". Then hold down the Photo mode key and the # key at the same time for at least 3 seconds

To reset error, enter SP mode by pressing: Clear (yellow) button, 1 0 7, and press and hold the Stop (orange) button for 3 seconds then switch off and on the copier.
If the error is still there, please check the following in the fuser unit;

• Check and clean or replace the possible defective thermistors or out of position.
• Fusing heaters open circuit.
• Thermostats for open circuit.
• Power supply unit.

To clear level A SC codes such as this SC541, you need to
Enter SP mode, and then turn the main power switch off and on, only.
Please check if the thermistors are the proper ones and are installed correctly in their position properly.
This is also useful for SC542.
Please check the thermostats and fusing lamps for open circuit.
