Question about D-Link Xtreme N DIR-655 Wireless Router
I had the same problem here. 99.9% of websites work fine, but online banking failed. So here is the solution (it's also in the manual, but who reads this stuff - well, I didn't): the default MTU of 1492 in the router is too high. I set the value to 1400, and now everything is working fine. You can find the perfect MTU value for your network environment by following the instructions in the manual. I have the german version here, where it is section 3 in chapter 6 (Why can't I access some websites ...)

1) There is a reset button on the back of your router, looks like a tiny hole. Hold a paperclip in there a few seconds and the router will reset to its default setings.
2) I don't think your router is the issue. I think your browser settings are the issue.
A) goto www.firefox.com and quit using IE forever- its security is bad. When you install firefox do not import your settings from IE.
B)If you really want to keep using IE, make sure you have the most recent version. You can try going into your settings, advanced and resetting the browser to it default settings. Also, stuff like online banking can require that you have at least java version 5.11. You can get the newest free version of java at www.java.com
