Broken Ink jet nozel on R1800

I have a R1800 injet printer with a broken ink nozel (the inlet that the ink cartridge sits on). Seems that the entire ink jet head needs to be replaced since all the nozels are made from 1 peice of platic. How can I get this fixed?

The service locater link was not helpful because my printer is not included in the list of model options. You need to either have an option that says "other" or list all Epson product possibilities. I have a Epson Photo R1800 printer with a broken ink jet. Can I have it repaired at a reasonable cost or is it a lost cause? Please respond to: [email protected] Thanks

How to install ink cartidge? hp psc 750

1. Allow your injet printer to run entirely out of ink. Unless the quality of your images is suffering, there is no problem with letting your ink run low.
2. Open the printer door. It should fold from the top down toward the tray. When it is open, it should expose the inner workings of the printer.
3. Press the change cartridge button. It is at the top of the printer next to the power button.
4. Pull on the green top of the inkjet ink cartridge and remove it up and out of its holder. Do this gently so the printer is not damaged in the process.
5. Recycle the empty inkjet cartridge or have it refilled at an ink refilling center.
6. Carefully remove the tape from the refilled or new inkjet ink cartridge and insert the cartridge in the same orientation as the one you removed.
7. Push on the green top until the cartridge snaps into place, press the cartridge change button and close the printer door.

How to refill brother LC38 cartridge

The cartridge is requires to be refilled immediately when it runs out of ink otherwise the print head gets dried up and becomes unusable.
Remove the ink cartridge; in the front side you'll see a small lever moving in side the transparent cartridge above the ink supply nozel. This is the sensor and tells about the ink quantity in the cartridge.
very carefully make a pin hole in it and use a 5ml syringe filled with "CISS ink" and not ordinary ink. CISS Ink is specially meant for continuous ink supply system and easily available for little higher price than normal ink.
Remember that the side walls of your Brother ink cartridges are made of transparent polythene and hence when injecting the needle of the syringe be careful that it does not go puncture the side walls and goes straight vertically. Injet the ink. Seal the pin hole with wax. You can use burning candle to drop little melted wax over the hole.
The better idea would be to break open a cartridge and see for yourself so that you dont damage the side walls accidentally.
The refillable ink cartridge set is available just for US $ 9.30 shipping paid from eBay.com I am using that set. Be careful Brother would void your warranty if it finds out that you are using refillables.

Black Ink Cartridge

Sometimes if you power off the printer, and then restore the power it will solve the problem. But if your images are printing fine, the blinking light is just an annoyance.
