SOURCE: My TV won't turn on. The Green light just keeps on flashing

1. Check for no 8.4 volts DC at pin 3 of PC9A10 on the Power PCB, if low or missing replace PC9A10 part # 268P058020. 2. LED does not blink at plug in. Verify the standby supplies, 12-volts at connector KA pin 17, 6-volts at KA pin 18 and the 28-volts at KA pin 19, if the supplies are present suspect the DM PCB part # 934C067002 4. LED does not stop blinking after plug in. Check C9B01, C9B02, C9B10, and C9B11 (1000 UFD 16) on the DM PCB, if they are bad replace them with part # 181P734030 (680 UFD 16 V). 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature; this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 6. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. SOURCE: mitsubishi wd 52825 tv It wont

it is common for a cuircit board called the dm(digital module) to go bad in these units. this set has a keyboard lockout feature.

Press menu for 10 seconds on front panel. if that does not release control then u more than likely have a problem with dm module. there are several bullitens about this and several things a tech can do to repair this set.

After researching online, my TV problem seems pretty common. TV - Mitsubishi 1080 series WS 55511. Green blinking light blinks for 3 seconds, then goes out and TV never turns on, but I hear a slight...

The green light is known as "The blinking green light of death". This refers to the green LED on the front panel of the TV that normally blinks when turned on after a power failure or when unplugged: the green light is supposed to flash for about 1 minute while both microprocessors boot up: If it won't stop blinking it means that they aren't communicating w/each other. Unfortunately, it's common in Mitsubishi & other RP TV's. Getting this fixed by a professional is around $6-700 with labor, parts, etc. It's really not worth it in my opinion. I would go out and buy an LCD or an LED TV.

WS-55517 Mitsubishi Rear HDTV projection tv will not turn on

2 blinks followed by 1 blink is the X-Ray protection-----means some problem in the High voltage circuit ---set produces over 25 thousand volts to fire the 3 picture tubes inside up----It could be excessive high voltage-------I think you would have to get lucky for someone to find and fix it in your home----more likely it will need a visit to a Repair shop.

Flashing green light

This is a very serious problem. The green blinking LED means the TV is reading its software but it can't complete the task. The cause is the premature failure of dozens of capacitors on several circuit boards in the TV. To properly fix this, the chassis needs to sent to Mitsubishi for rebuilding. You'll need to contact a Mitsubishi authorized service center to do this. This is expensive and takes quite a bit of time.

Sony bravia tv

Solution is simple....

First, unplug power cable from the back of your TV. You will notice the flashing light is still flashing. Don't worry, go to the Second step.

Second, keep pressing on the POWER button, located on the panel at the top of your TV, to shut off your TV. This will stop the flashing light from appearing.

Third, Plug the power cable back onto your TV

Fourth, press the POWER botton ONCE, using the same button used in the Second step to turn your TV back on.

Fifth, you will see the POWER light comes on, as normal.

Sixth, using your remote control, press the green button to turn on. Your TV should work as normal.

TV WENT OFF BY ITSSELF

This TV has reached the end of its (short) life. Needs to be replaced.

You can try looking at what kind of TV it is, what model, and look at the manufacturer's web site, check for the manual, look up what it means when the green light flashes. Might be a code that means something but I think the TV is dead.

on the signal board replace the caps by the 5/9 volt regulators. c2p04 is the main culprit. 6 caps in total can be changed. I believe c2p05 also.
