WILL NOT BUILD UP AIR PRESSURE PAST 20 LBS.

Check to see if air is leaking past 'pressure relief' valve. It's probably leaking and that's where all the air is going.

I have a model C48A93A06 1/2 horse power pump motor and it pumps water fine, but, it will get within 2lbs of the cut off pressure and just sit there and run and will not cut off unless I bump the pressure...

I would check the holding tank pressure, if you have one with a bladder. Turn electric off to the pump, and drain all water from the tank. Take a tire pressure gauge and check the tank pressure at the air valve on top of the tank. That pressure should be two lbs less than your cut-on pressure. If the cut-on pressure is 20 lbs, then the tank pressure should be at 18 lbs. If there's too much pressure in the tank, it wont let the pressure switch work correctly. If you get water from that air valve, then the bladder is ruptured, and a new tank is needed.
I hope this works for you!

Husky comp on 1st start builds up 75 lbs and wont restart

Check the reset button on the motor to see if it tripped. The motor may be overheating. Some motors have an internal breaker and they have to cool off before they restart. Also check the pressure switch. Move the switch back and forth ( on and off ) and listen for a click. If it doesn't click with low to no air pressure then the switch is bad.

    Air in rear shocks

Depending on your weight and if you carry a passenger as to the air pressure. I normally run about 14 but 24 if riding 2 up.
    Recommended pressures:
    up to 150 lbs- 0
each addition 25 rider pounds > 150 lbs add 1.0 lbs
each additional passenger pounds > 150 lbs add 1.5 lbs
each additional 10 lbs of laggage add 3.0 lbs
    Max Pressure 35 psi
