Question about Lasko 5540 Ceramic Compact Heater
When heater is turned on, after a few seconds, it starts poping and smoking (as in an electric short)
It depends on where the smoke is coming from. If it's from the heating elements, it's normal as dust and residue burn off. If it is coming from the control section, it's bad and the heater should not be used.
