Question about Computers & Internet
Make sure the connector is connected properly, are you able to use a USB keyboard?
does the computer keyboard function at all? right when you turn on the computer it should say on the screen one of the corners or around the bottom area to press button to enter bios or boot menu, are you able to enter bios or boot menu? If your not able to enter bios and you know your pressing the right button (you saw it on the screen and pressed it when you saw the message on the screen)
Then the keyboard probably isn't the problem, if you are able to enter bios then the keyboard works.
the mainboard of the laptop has a problem if the keyboard doesn't work, you will most likely have to replace the mainboard, most cases it won't be cheap and you should consider the price of a new laptop and the warranty that comes with a new computer agains the price of the motherboard.
seems to go for around 400usd. I would recommend you take the laptop to a local repairer, he will confirm the fault and test the laptop if its something simple he will be able to fix it if not then he should give you a repair quote. may go around 500usd.
