My phone all of a sudden said i have an invaled card
I was just using the phone like normal and then out of the blue it stopped sending text and no calls could be made so i restarted it and then it came up with a PUK or somethings like like and i have no idea what that is so now i am locked out of my phone and cant even get to the menu screen. what do i do?
Re: my phone all of a sudden said i have an invaled card
The same thing happened to me just 3days ago...so you need a puk sode/ or pin unlock code..same thing..just dont keep putting in random # or your sim car will become disabled and the card will have no use. so just call your phone service company and give them the info they ask for and your problem...and they will give you a puk code..

This can be caused by a lot of different reasons
Have you tried turning off your device for 5 minutes with simcard out and then placing the sim card back in and retrying to send and receive a text message?
Devices with sim cards can start having this issue for several different reasons
1. Just needs to be refreshed in the manner that I described above
2. Contacting your provider and having them go into your device and refreshing your network and settings.. They might also refresh your text messaging feature in your device and sometimes when they do this you might lose all or some of your texts but the issue is normally resolved.
3. When you have a device with a sims card the sims card is what really makes your device do all that it does.. So that being said your sims card also might need to be replaced.
I would recommend going to your carrier provider via store or telephone so that they can test your device..
Hope this helps a little
hey steven sc480 i experienced the same problem on the samsung a877 where the phone wont send anything. i finally learned after a while that the only solution to the problem is to restart it. its very annoying but u just have to accept it or upgrade to a new phone. the model i had which was the impression was notorious for its pink screen of death where the phone sends so many messages it just decides to turn the screen pink. but anyway i think that may be a relation in some of their phones. i know its annoying but i just got used to it. sorry
The phone can have errors in the software. Also check the settings on the messages settings, check the phone number that the message is not sent. So to reset remove the battery and the memory card from the phone. Using your PC , scan the memory card for any corrupt files or media files with virus- it is possible when they are downloaded from unsafe sites. If so remove or format the card. Now replace the card and battery and switch on the phone. If the phone hangs up then it is confirmed that the software is corrupt and will need a reinstallation. Seeking help from the authorized service /support centre is most ideal. Take estimate and decide.
the message center number must have been tampered with.call your service provider customer care line for this number.then go to message>message setting>text messages>message center now click to enter the given numbers
hmm, the only way you won't be able to send messeges, and receive that notification is 1. you have bad reception, 2. the phone you sent it to has your number blocked. 3. your phone is using an incorrect carrier sim card.
If the SIM works fine in other phones, there is a phone issue. See if you're eligible for a warranty replacement (eligible if purchased new from AT&T within the last year or if purchased refurbished from AT&T within the last 90 days). If ineligible and you have insurance, use it... there will be a $50 deductible applied to your next bill. If ineligible and you haven't got insurance, get a replacement through somewhere like ebay or craigslist, upgrade (never EVER use wirefly or amazon, trust me) through AT&T preferably, or purchase a gophone (AT&T prepaid) from walmart, walgreens, wherever (If you go to RadioShack, they'll do everything for you). You just put your SIM in it and it will have your phone number and contract information... you don't have to sign up for prepaid service.
