Check the gas cap. Loosen it a bit and try again. There is a vent built into it the hole on top plugs up ans stops the fuel flow.

My lawn tractor craftsman 14.5hp IC OHV B&S stalls approx. 5 mins after starting so I restart and it can stall in another 10-15 min again and so on.

you may have some debris in your gas tank blocking the pickup tube. It will float away when the mower dies, then block the tube after it runs again.

I have a 2135 cub cadet it will start and run fine for 20-30min then sputter and stall . Sometimes it will restart but only for a min then stall again. Any solutions?

Check fuel filter and be sure gas cap is VENTED,or the vents on the gas cap are not clogged , air hose it.
Take your fuel line off at the carburetor and blow back thru it to the gas tank to see if debris comes out,be real careful when or if you do this

LT133 lawn tractor starts then stops. no spark, has gas filter ok,cleaned safety cutoff switch under seat. mower starts up,runs for 20 sec then stops.

Does the engine start up every time right when it shuts off, or will the engine not start until it's cooled off? And when the engine is running for the 20 seconds........ does it give any indication that it is going to stall, or does it abruptly shuts off with no indication of stalling? Let me know and I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.

Stalls after 20 mins. of running fine. (Starving for gas)

From the rear of machine look at the top left of fuel tank for the fuel line.Where line comes out of tank see if it is pinched where it goes down between frame and tank, grab line and see if it moves freely. If that is OK loosen fuel cap after 10 minutes of run time to see if your vent hole in cap is working. These are 2 common problems for the L series mowers.

My Mower won't start for more than 8 sec. I changed the spark plug, gas, oil, etc. I cleaned it inside and out including the carb. left in rain for 5 min accedentaly, cleaned, na da. Help. Thanks Craftsman...

the problem is that your carbeurator is gummed from from sitting idle all winter with gas in it. Get an aerosol can of carbeurator cleaner, remove the air filter and give the air intake two squirts of carb. cleaner. Then start the mower. When it stalls again let it sit for an hour while the carbeurator cleaner works at dissolving some of that gum. Repeat the process until the mower runs again. Sometimes there is so much junk in the carb. that you have to remove it and soak it in cleaner for about three hours, and then rebuild the carb. with the proper little kit. hopefully you won't have to take this step.

Next fall let the mower run out of gas and stall then you won't have the gum in the carbeurator in the spring.
