I have a Niagara eco iq #N9195 digital thermostat that keeps changing 79 degrees setting to 68 by itself. What could this mean?

You may have selected 79 degrees as a temporary setting and after that period it defaults to 68.

Robert Shaw thermostat 9400 set on 75 degrees but room temp says 79 so air just keeps on running. Air is coming out and does not feel like 79 degrees.

Sounds like the compressor isn't running. Probably needs a new capacitor in the outdoor unit.

My Goodman unit won't cool below 78 degrees inside during this heatwave. The thermostat says

your home may not be insulated well enough or you could have leaking duct or your system may not be charged correctly ac systems are not sized to cool below 76 degrees above 90 degrees outdoors because this will increase your utility bills during the cooler temperatures. thank your governement and all the regulations we have to follow for this. they would rather you save money than be comfortable. and we are actually in violation of state law and federal law if we install a unit that will cool below 76 degrees on 90 degree outdoor temp

My Honeywell Thermostat won't stay at the temp that I set it at!

You are likely running a schedule. When you go to tstat and change the temp it is a temporary setting that will expire in a given amount of time. 1, 2 3 hours etc. "HOLD" can sometimes bypass the schedule, "RUN" returns to the schedule. Not sure what model tstat you have but you have to exit your schedule.

What degree should I keep it on? 66 or 79? I can't find the manual

79 will mean that your house will be 79 degrees inside, I would think you would rather 75 or lower number. The lower the number the colder you want the room to get and the harder the AC will have to work for you.
