Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W30 Digital Camera

Flash Problems Ok here is my problem. The flash on my camera won't go. I finally got the flash options to reappear but the flash is still not going. The screen has a lighting bolt symbol with a yellow blicking light and also on the camera itself. Also on the screen this is blicking, E:91:01. This is driving me crazy. Now the flash options are no longer there. Has this happened to anyone else? Please help Thank you. Patty

My Pentax Optio M90's Flash has stopped working.. it doesn't matter if I have selected the flash to be on or off it still won't work. Even when setting are set at auto it still won't work...

Hi kerritm,

This indicated that it's time you need to replace your flash , therefore you can get it done via a service center,

The camera's flash has a certain life and you can't expect it to be ok for many years together ,

In unfortunate cases , it stops working due to hard ware failure.

Therefore , Please get the flash replaced and you would be able to use it.

Hope this helps..:)

The flash wont work on the camera...still

1. Even if the flash is set to always ON, the flash will still not work in the following circumstances:
* When shooting MPEG movies. * When shooting in the Twilight or Handheld Twilight mode. * If shooting with the Burst or Multi Burst mode. * Shooting with Sweep Panorama. * Shooting with the Fireworks or High Sensitivity mode. * If an external flash is connected.
2. You can also Initialize the Camera. Touch the Home option. Then, select the Main Settings and then, select the Main Setting2 option. Then, select the Initialize option to OK.
3. You can also try to select the Flash Forced option to ON. The Flash Forced option is located under the Flash Settings.

Olympus 1030 sw -Flash doesn´t work anymore

Have you tried to reset the camera to the factory defaults? To do this: have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to reset - press ok - Highlight Yes and press ok. This will reset the camera to factory settings. See if flash works now.

Flash off sign.

I had a similar problem, where the only option on the menu for the flash was off. I initialised the camera (reset everything), and the flash options have reappeared, and it now appears to work fine (initialise is in the settings menu from home).

Hello i want to turn the auto flash off

Press the up arrow on the back of the camera - that seems to be the flash mode setting - select which flash mode you want - you have to hit the down arrow once to see the flash off option which is a picture of a flash symbol in a circle. Then press ok. The flash should now not fire.

Sony DSC T300. Problems with the flash

I just solved this problem: to put flash, while you are in shooting mode, touch MENU, then REC Mode on the first page, and touch Normal, to take a single picture and then OK, you'll have the Auto Flash which appeares; but I never knew how to put the other kinds of flash...

Help flash Nixon coolpix L11

make sure when you press the round selection button on the back of the camera flash option, you press the ok in the center of the button on the back.

it will show brief yellow AUTO in the LCD screen upper right corner for a sec.

when you are going to take a picture holding the shutter button half way down, you should see up at the right corner outside of the LCD screen a red led flashing to indicate flash is ready.

one thing to try if this is not working, find the camera reset option in the menu. after doing this you may have to reset the date & time. it will bring the camera back to default settings

on the bad side if these dont work, possible flash circuit may have failed inside the camera.

good luck!

K100D flash doesn´t work

My camera with the dodgy flash is holidaying in Japan as they sent it to be fixed - not sure how old your camera is but I am trying to see if this is an issue that occurs with the camera model.... given that there are only two of us to date I am thinking that we may have just struck the jackpot :(
