I have a AKAI 27
I have a AKAI 27"wide-screen LCD TV LCT2785TA serial #60950665 bought on 3-16-07 now it doesn't go on anymore the red light is lit but when i try to put it on all it does is blink

- the led light in front of the tv only blinks when I press the on button on the tv so it blinks as long as I hold that downif I press the remote then it only blinks once

hello, blinking lights does mean a fualt in the circuts the number of blinks will tell you a what part or board needs service or replacement so this is a good sign that your power supply is still functional. how many blinks? i may have that manual around here somewhere..

Here's the easy fix, this has been done by hundreds of people that have never even held a soldering iron, the 3 capicitors are $5 at The Shack.
