Ebay have a couple of site that sell single keys and instructions on how to fit them

You may struggle to get one with the machine being so new but perhaps the keyboard has been fitted on other models

My HP Pavilion dv7 is not powering up, it just blink when i press the power button. These hapened after i fix the noizy fan, and assempled it back. What should i do, there is no official HP or anyother...

I would suggest disassembling it, checking for breaks in any cables, loose cables etc, then assembling very slowly, checking everything as you go along, good luck.

Broken "shift" key.

Well you can try and clip it back on, if able, or use a wee bit of hot glue, or replace whole keyboard.

Left shift key is loose

The keys on laptops are easy to break. Many times they become loose or broken during cleaning or even though normal wear if the computer is used a lot.

If everything appears to be intact simply align the button directly over the area and apply a light, even pressure. This should snap it back into place. If you aren't comfortable doing this contact your local computer repair shop and have them take a look at it. Hope this helps!

Lines across my screen

if the Hp has lines on it....then...
check the left hinge of you notebook if you feel there is something wrong with it then call HP and tell them the left hinge is bad.....and if lines stay on in bios then they should definitely help you out ....even though if you are out of warranty...they would tell you whether they can help you only after they see the serial no. of the notebook

if dell has lines on it then you can call dell cuz dell gives seperate warranty on monitors

Keys coming off my HP Pavilion 5000 laptop

I'm afraid that if the keys "keep coming off" then the very small bits of plastic that keep them down have permanently broken (very common) and that you must replace the keyboard. Page 5-28 of this document from HP explains how to replace the keyboard of that model.

Shift key has to be pressed firmly to work.

From what you tell me, it sounds to me like the key or the arms/"rubber-hinges" that holds the button is worn out or broken.

Contact your local dealer or the place where you ordered the laptop.

If you have access to a monitor, connect it to your laptop, you may need to hold down the function key and press the "CRT/LCD" key which may be F8 or F7 key, and see if you are able to see anything.
If trhis works, you need a new display, take it to your local computer repair shop.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.

Keys are missing, some broken

As far as i know it is not possible to buy a complete replacement keyboard for a laptop, however, you can plug in an external keyboard or take it to a shop like PC world and ask for them to replace the keys for you. Generally this isn't an expensive job.

Good luck with that : )
