Question about Dell Latitude CPX Notebook
I just inherited a refurbished Dell Latitude Laptop that hasn't been used in more than 18 months. It won't recognize my iphone or any other device I connect to the USB port. I ran the Windows update and updated Itunes. When I plug the iphone or even a camera into the usb, neither the computer nor the device recognizes that they're connected to each other. Is there something in my settings I can check to see if the usb port is 'on'?
Yes ... Go to Start - Control Panel - System - Device Manager to see if there are any hardware conflicts or any other issues.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
