Question about Philips 60P8341 60" Rear Projection Television
There is an inherent problem with philips CRTs...they are the ONLY CRTS on the market that have fluid (Glycol) inside them that have to be changed over time. When they are manufactured, they are filled with glucol and bacteria can get inside with the fluid...this bacteria eventually grows and populates within the CRT and causes it to get cloudy...it only happens with the blue and green ..never the red..cause the red emits UV or IR which kills the bacteria. This could be your problem...or...it could be your high voltage...you can manually turn up the screens on your tubes to brighten each tube individually. Let me know how it comes out.....
