Is it 220 if so check if you 120 on each pole and should be on a dedicated breaker at least 30 amps. make sure you have a good ground.even on 120 you must have a good ground. or the cord breaker is bad. but check all the above. make sure there no lose wires no arcing.

The control panel on my oven doesn't seem to be working. I pressing COOKING MODE for 5 seconds and nothing happens. The display just blinks once in a while.

In the power panel on your house. There are two circuit breakers with their handles joined. One of these breakers has tripped internally which will stop the heating elements but not the control panel or oven light since they work on 120 volts. Reset the breaker or replace it.

Pump not working, just clicking noise when power turned on and button pressed on the control panel. ? previously tripped out, but lights all working ok, What should we do?

i am going to assume its a VS pump. turn off the main breaker for 5 minutes to allow the system to reset. turn off the breaker to pump as well. after reset period, turn on main breaker first then the pump breaker.

I have had my whirlpool dryer about 4yrs + (geq9800pw2) has always worked fine. Last week it started tripping ckt breaker toward the end of drying cycle. As of this morning, it blows ckt breaker...

leave off the oven and a/c breakers and plug dryer and reset the breaker. if not tripping occurs then one at a time trip back the oven first. if no trip then trip off again and trip the a/c. if no trip then trip the oven back. if trip you may have a wire problem. if dryer trip any way then possibly you have a short in dryer. check the heating element wires, power cord at the dryer side(terminal block).

The socket next to my washer was used to put in an extension cord to fix my deck with a power saw. The socket is still out, but the breaker works for then lights there.

Usually the washer circuit is a seperate 20A circuit. The lights would be on a different circuit usually 15A. Check your panel and see if there is a 20 breaker tripped. Hopefully your panel is labeled (or it should be) Are you saying this tripped while using the extension cord? Another possibility is that it is controlled by a GFCI outlet. You can connect additional receptacles to a GFCI outlet to protect them. Check to see if you have a GFCI receptacle tripped (in garage, bathrrom etc)

Won't start

Check the door switch by listening for an audible click just as the door opens or closes. If you do not hear an audible click then the door switch is bad. IIf you hear this audible click then go to your circuit breaker box and check to see if they have tripped. If the circuit breakers have tripped reset them ONCE and try the dryer. If the breaker trips again DO NOT reset it. You have an internal short in your dryer and it will require further service.

Totally dead. Vizio GV42L

If the circuit breaker was tripped, more likely the fuse inside the TV power supply might also be blown. If that is the case there might be a short circuit in the power supply components, more likely on a diode or transistor/mosfet.
Contact these website to see if they have the parts for your plasma.
Good Luck.
