NETWORK ERROR MESSAGE

I recently changed the IP address for the Lanier LD015SPF and now the printer continues to flash: Check Network Settings (103), How can I stop this? Also when trying to make copies it will only print one copy at a time if I choose 10 15 or 20?

    I got the Network Error Message to go away by Changing the Gateway address.

    The multiple copy problem is still there. Have not changed any drivers lately

Hi,

This error comes if you have the drivers curropted by some chance. Did you install any software recently that might have disturbed the drivers.

Please find the user manual and the link where you can download the drivers:

WHAT DOES IP CONFLICT ERROR MESSAGE MEAN ON A DELL 2335 PRINTER

This means that another device on your network has the sames address as your printer, if the address of the printer is fixed / manual then you will need to find out what other device is using the address and restart it.

Lanier LD016 can't scan to server using server name but can scan to server using IP address on server 2003.

Your DNS information may be incorrect use a ipconfig /All to check your DNS setting from any workstation on your current network. If you ping the name of the server it should reply with the IP address

When scanning, received error message "selected servers are not found. Consult you network administrator." Never received this error before, and as the administrator, I have not changed any settings.

If your network is set up to DHCP your leases may have expired and your server may have given new IP Addresses to the destinations you want to send to. Check in the settings of the MFP (copier) that the IP address matches what the IP Address (check at the computer as well) on the computer is. When all else fails (including reboot of all) reinstall the software.

I followed this suggestion and now the IP address is 0.0.0.0. I can not get to the printer setting. I don't know if the DHCP setting still remained as static instead of dynamic. ANY SUGGESTION?

I had the same problem, after removing the DHCP settings, maybe for an error during the configuration the printer didn't assume the new IP address and it resulted 0.0.0.0 from the configuration page.
No way to connect to the printer until I did a network card reset following this procedure:

************************************
7. Network Card Reset:
a. Turn the printer off.
b. Open the front cover.
c. Hold down the Continue and the Cancel button while powering the printer on.
d. Release the buttons when the Error light (bottom light) stays on solid.
e. Close the front cover and the printer should return to a READY state.
f. Press and release the continue button to print a network settings page.
g. On the page that prints verify the following:
 Status = Not Connected
 Active = Yes
 DHCP,BOOTP,RARP Enabled = Yes, Yes, Yes
 Address Source = Manual
 Address = 0.0.0.0
************************************

The printer took a new IP address from the DHCP server.
Since my goal was to set a fixed IP address, I entered the printer configuration through Internet explorer, typing the newly assumed IP address and going to TCP/IP settings where I removed The 'Auto DHCP' and I set the IP address I wanted.

Printer not working Error offline

I recently resolved the same problem by going into the Printer and Faxes under Control Panel. Look for the printer icon that shows in offline status. Right click 'Properties' and go to the Ports tab folder. Select the Port IP address in question and click on 'Configure Port' button. Click on the check box next to SNMP [SNMP status enabled] to remove the check mark and to disable the option. Click OK on the Configure Port window. Click Close on the properties window. Hope this helps.

Printer busy/or error

Sounds like your machine is using DHCP, not a static IP address?

Print your network settings from the Printer, then try to Ping from a computer on the network.

Check the Network setting of the machine, make sure it is set to a fixed (static) IP Address.

If this is the problem, you can go into your PC printers port and change the port to the reassigned IP Address of the machine.

If you reinstall the drivers then you will have this installed twice, one will work one will not, so delete it from the printers folder before you reinstall before you reinstall
