Hello, I have a Peugeot 406 coupe V6 24v, conversion to LPG when i switch from petrol to LPG it beeps four times with the lights flashing on the LPG button, Normally it only beeps three times when its empty. Thanks

Buy a Haynes Workshop Manual for Peugeot 406 1999-2002 PN 3982. Definitely it will help. It is a relatively easy job. Normal, the drive belt is a life time component if you keep the car properly. Mine is 2004 406 Coupe 2.0 auto. The belt is still in top condition.

A reminder that you're not running gas, LPG.

i had the same problem, in behind the glove box there is a black cigarette sized box, this was faults on my 406 coupe and the speedo didn't owrk, or suddenly it shot from 0 while dribing up to 30 or what ever my speed was, it also wrecked my powersteering rack trying to drive it, as it made terrible noises as its speed sensitive. you local peugeot dealer will be able ot get you one. i can't remember how much it cost, sorry.

Think you'll find it's one of the following
petrol cap not on properly
petrol flap not shut properly
petrol cap not original as they should have magnets in them

Check ignition timing setting for lpg and consult with lpg conversion center to install a spark timing advance processor if possible
