I have the same problem, i tryed using te perfect focus feature but it only completes 25% before quitting and the problem does not get fixed. I think a Lamp might need to be replaced, any suggestions?

I have found when samsangs convergence are out of range perfect focus will fail. if the are out of range a technician will try to adjust the set in service mode. store these values and then this will be the base for the perfect focus. If the set has a bad convergence cuircit then they have to be replaced.

Unfortunately your light engine(also know as optic block) may need to be replaced. If your tv is out of warranty, it will probably cost around $1000 to fix. There is a slim possibility that the optics lens could have dust on it and a tech could clean it for much less than that. This is a very common problem in any dlp tv and they are all expensive to fix. I've replaced several of them at our shop, but about half of the customers won't have the tv fixed and will get a new one. Good luck!

Color seperation and red drooping line

You have defective Convergence IC's. It's best to have a service company verify and do the repair if you wish. Normally runs about $250.00

Turns on and off green LED flashes until TV turns back on.

this is a symptom of a bad lamp. for some reason it won't spit out a lamp error. shaking up the lamp will sometimes fix temporarily but you will find replacing to be the answer. if your tv has a fan error, you will get 4 red blinks.

Top left corner double picture red and green

you have a failed IC resistor usually you can physically see the bad one because it burns out leaving you to guess what the value was. Hitachi offers a convergence fix kit which has 2 IC's and all approiate resistors.

Light green and pink spots on my hd tv!!!

Tiny particles of dust on the light engine lens can cause this (and was a service call for me about a month ago), or possibly the expensive light engine.

65 in.JVC bad picture

You may have a convergence problem that means, there may be convergence ic's bad or related components.
If you know something about tv's, try checking things out.
You can get a repair manual from websites to download.
If you do not normally fix tv's the best thing is to call a tv repair technician.

Screen is filled with a circular Red/Green/Blue pattern

The problem will be with the de-gausing circuit, this de-magnetises the tube when the set is switched on from cold, this is a fault you will need to get an engineer to look at ie, not a D.I.Y repair.
