No lexmark 6500 driver for Mac

I recently bought a new mac with 10.5 OS X (Leopard). When trying to install my Lexmark 6500 series printer I realized that I don't have a suitable driver for it. The drivers included in the OS CD don't include the driver for the 6500 series. I can't find a driver online either. Is the printer not compatible with the new OS?
