DISSAMBLING SAMSUNG R40 Hello there, SAMSUNG R40 I got the same problem. I don't know how to dissamble my SAMSUNG R40, and the cooler seems to be clogged with dust, so I'm afraid I'll fry my laptop. I've been able to get the keyboard off, and I've removed every single screw I could find, but no luck... I can bend the case apart slightly in some places, but other places are still held firmly together, particularly near the display hinges and near the audio connectors at the front. I suspect there are plastic tabs inside the case holding it together, but I can't see anything from the outside, and I'm obviously reluctant to use force... This would also be useful for the users of Samsung R60. Can anyone give me a hint as to how I can get the case open? Any tip will be highly welcome!. Thanks.

If you are not sure what you are doing, it would be a lot better if you put it back together and called a pro to clean it for you, at least it will work when you get it back.

Samsung r40 reset to factory settings

hello there Start by pressing F4 when the BIOS "Samsung" screen is showing. This will allow you to restore the original operating system from the recovery partition, if is there. (Also try the other Fn keys - F6 and F8 may do something).

Otherwise you will need to beg, borrow or buy an XP Home installation CD and use that for a new installation. You can use the Samsung key on the bottom to activate it. You can get the R40 drivers from SamsungPC.

may be the fans are blocked or malfunction.
Don`t continue using if is overheat, you can broken others parts.
I recommend clean the TV, put the blower or aspirator near the vents air (slots for ventilation).

If you can dissamble the TV, remove the fan and check it or replace.

You can buy it at your service center

Lg 23ls7d wont turn on.No light goes on when its plugged in, nothing happens it's just dead. I checked the power source and its fine. I don't know what happened? Can you help

Five capacitors (green) on the power board may be the source of your problem. If they are high centered then you may need to repace them. Usually it will be only 2 or three but I would replace all that are swollen. The cost of the capacitors is very low. The expensive part is having a specialist do it. If you feel up to it, learn how to disassemble the back but photograph every step, even all the cable connections before dissambling. Tape & mark all your screws and connections. I took different colored indelible pens to mark the connections to make sure I got them connected correctly. My TV works well except that now I have to figure out why it comes on by itself. I need help with this problem.

VIDEO RECORDING NO SOUND WILL BE HEARD

1st check you video in the computer.
If you hear a sound, i think your problem in your internal speaker or in the motherboard. It' simple if the problem in the speaker.Just change it.But if the motherboard is trouble, i can't help you.Maybe one resistor is dead/not properly work.
If you don't hear sound. May be you have a mix problem.Change it.
