FELLOWES SHREDDER
In case of a paper jam , which may occur if the shredder is pushed beyond its specified capabilities, press the control switch to the off [O] position and empty the basket if full. Then:
1) Press and hold control switch in reverse [R] position and attempt to back paper out of shredder.
2) If shredder jams in reverse mode, press control switch to automatic [I] position and attempt to continue shredding operation.
3) If shredder jams again, alternate control switch slowly between reverse [R] and automatic [I] positions to attempt to move jammed paper completely through shredder.
If you are unable to clear the jam using this method, turn off and unplug the shredder; remove the wastebasket from cabinet and carefully remove any paper extending below the cutting cylinders; empty the wastebasket; insert wastebasket and repeat jam clearing procedure.

SOURCE: Fellowes Shredder keeps running

You should be able to flip up the cd cover and visibly see the sensors in the center of the paper entry(look like little LED lightbulbs) Clean with a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alchohol. This should solve your problem. If it doesn't you probally have a burned out sensor. call 1-800-945-4545 to check with customer service.

SOURCE: Fellowes C220 Shredder Jam

First unplug shredder. You can remove the top and start removing paper. It can be quite time consuming. I can't remember if this model uses plastic paper strippers or not. If it does, they may have broken when the shredder jammed. They strip the paper from the cutters.

Fellowes Paper Shredder PS-79Ci power switch not working -- will not turn on!

Have you looked at the shredder blade to see if anything is still there? Turn power off, check shredder blade, clear anything stuck, put back together, turn power on and try again.

My fellows jbo1 jamed and then stopped running is there a reset buton?

Chances are it's over heated.
Ensure the wastebasket is empty then move power switch to the REVERSE position. This will reverse the jammed paper out of the shredder. If shredder jams again, alternate control switch slowly between REVERSE and AUTO (l) positions to attempt to move jammed paper completely through the shredder. If the shredder jams in reverse mode, move the switch to AUTO (l), depress the manual forward button located on the center of the shredder head and allow to run for five seconds. If jam does not clear, move switch to REVERSE again and allow to run for five seconds. Repeat this process until jam is cleared. If necessary, turn off shredder and use care to grasp the paper and carefully pull out to clear jam. Once cleared, move switch to AUTO (l) to continue shredding. The jamming may be happening because the cutting cylinder needs to be oiled. See oiling instructions below.

Fellowes PS-70 Shredder jam

I used needle-nose pliers and regular pliers to pull out all of the jammed paper -- it took an hour but I finally got it. I never did find a release mechanism even after I took the top apart. Thanks anyway!

PS-70-2 not working

Make sure the pull-out wastebasket is all the way in. Also, make sure the basket is less than half full. A paper jam could also cause this symptom.
