How to fix my JWIN DVD Player ?

The lazer is not reading the disc and the DVD Player vibrates heavily when a disc is placed in it.

SOURCE: Player Does not play any type of Disc

Press case lid where it attaches to player. If this makes unit react you have a defective lid switch. You can probably put some weight over it to hold lid down and it will operate. Otherwise switch must be repaired

its the new disc setup for dvd's there using a new dvd conversion set up disc old dvd players just dont read the new dvd's just the other night did what you did but i went out and bought a new dvd player gotta keep up with technology
if you have warranty return for update or buy new technology it sucks i know but just put old dvd in another room have fun with the old one when you buy the new one

Hello,

Most online stores don't have the power cord for your Jwin portable dvd player -JD-VD753/743. The below link is the best I can get amongst online stores.

Also, we don't stay in the same vicinity, so I wouldn't know precisely where you can get the power cord. But I believe there should be an electronic accessories store in your area. Try there and you should find a power cord for your Jwin portable dvd player.

If you don't find the exact adapter, you should at least find a closely related power cord with the same voltage or a universal power cord.

Pioneer dv-2010 dvd player makes a whirring noise
That's because the lazer on the tray is trying to read the disc. Does this happen to other discs? When the lazer can't read the file, the drive spins up the disc to help it read it.

as with all dvd type machines the lazer builds up dust and debree on the lazer lens this makes it harder for the lazer to read the incripted information on the disc. much like a torch bean being covered with a cloth the fix is simple you need to purchase a lazer disc cleaner it looks and works just like a normal dvd disc but it has brushes on it that when put through the player brushes the dust of the laser lens this needs to be done on a regular bases to keep your lazer working to its optimum level and hense fixing your problem.

This just started happening. Have had the wii console for almost a year. The game starts playing and then just at random times it stops and says can't read the disc. Eject and power off then try again. ...

When I place the disc in the Blu-ray it says "reading disc" then it say "No disc inserted"
try a dvd cleaner/if not open it if you can see the lazer
give it a wipe with cotton/might be dust

I placed a DVD into the recorder /player began to vibrate & noise
HI
I have had this kind problem before on some dvd players. I don't think there is anything wrong as such it seems you have a noisy disc motor.
My solution to this is to squirt a little WD40 where the spindle shaft goes through the motor. Don't squirt too much or it will get messy. I think you'll find this will help! (:-)
