What does the scan tool show.??
? still P0106, and did you reset it?
did you try to start car with MAP disconnected, some do start in limphome mode. rich a a pig but starts.
did you have key off when you fiddled the MAP connector,
or better pull the battery neg, lug first?

lost power to the mAP, check the power pin.
lost ground to sensor.
lost vacuum to the sensor (clogged paths)
Bad MAP sensor Water/dirt intrusion affecting MAP sensor connector Intermittent open in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor Intermittent short in the reference, ground, or signal wire for the MAP sensor Ground problem due to corrosion causing intermittent signal problem A break in the flexible air intake duct between the MAF and the intake manifold Bad PCM
(do not assume the PCM is bad until you've exhausted all other possibilities)

SOURCE: I have changed the spark plugs on my 2005 C2 VTS and now when I start the car the engine warning light comes on and it beeps at me. Don't think I've done anything wrong, have checked everythin

try to recheck the spark plug distribution cable arrangement otherwise check your spark plug may be one of it is short or the gap is not proper.

I trouble with P0106, P0442, P0455

code p 0106 refers to manifold absolute pressure(MAP) sensor / barometric pressure (BARO) sensor---range /performance problem===causes --intake exhaust leak---wiring---MAP sensor---BARO sensor
code p 442 refers to evaporative emission(EVAP) system--small leak detected===causes --hose connections ---intake leak---EVAP cannister purge valve
it also refers to EVAP system ---large leak detected ---cap loose/ off ===causes --mechanical fault , hose connection EVAP pressure sensor
code p 0455 refers to EVAP system --large leak detected ===causes same as for p 0442 causes

Engine management fault fitted map sensor and still wont start

Check that the hose for the MAP sensor is not disconnected or blocked. Then check that the vacuum port for the hose is clear on the engine side. After that, start looking at a shorted wire.

I have a Pontiac Grand Prix GT, 3.8 Liter Motor. Two codes PO108 Map/Baro CKT High Input, and PO121 Throttle/Pedal Position sens A ckt Rng/Perform, according to the scanner. Did I need a Map Sensor and...

Change the throttle sensor first, and see if the map sensor is a victum. throttle sensor is similar to an old volume reostat, on some cars and everything else tries to do react, and everything errors out.... My bet is throttle position sensor... But you never know, it CAN be both, just usually not both.

I have a 2000 dodge durango that wont start. I changed the crank shaft senser and the cam shaft position senser and the cap and rotor button but still wont start

Have you checked for your DTC code?? The code may help you address the issue that is keeping your engine from starting.

ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS

1. Cycle the ignition key ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON within 5 seconds. To cycle the ignition key ON means to turn it only as far as it takes to get the radio to come on. It does not mean to turn the engine on.

2. Count the number of times the "check engine" lamp on the instrument panel flashes on and off. The number of flashes represents the code. There is a slight pause between the flashes representing the first and second digits of the code. Longer pauses separate individual codes. For example, flash-flash-flash [pause] flash-flash represents the code 32.

A code of "55" represents end of error codes. If this is all you get then no error codes are stored in the computer. This is the normal condition for a neon.
CODE Description of Trouble Code
11 Timing belt skipped 1 tooth or more from initial learned value, Intermittent loss of either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking

13 No change in MAP from start to run
14 MAP sensor voltage too low
15 No vehicle speed sensor signal
