Cd stops playing & not recognized as soon as i start my car...

...everythings else works fine. stationary and engine off the cd reads 80% of the time but as soon as its on it stops reading it. im assuming its because of the shaking vehicle but arent they designed to withstand shaking...surelt sometings not right. any ideas? any way of making it stable??
