It's keeps restarting over and over again

Hi,

problem can be solved.

Phones restarts when an application that was installed on the phone has be corrupted and it makes the phone to malfunction causing the phone the have memory lose.

To restore the memory lose of the phone, the phone needs to be flashed.

Formatting the phone does not remove virus that has affected files in the phone memory, but it removes installed files.

After flashing the phone, the phone will not restart again, but will come on normally.

Have a nice day.

Will flash cause harm to my w760?

No, it won't solve the problem. It may harm the phone if you don't do it right.

Sony ericsson w760i resets itself

There are multiple reasons why you cannot update the phone. Are you on original software or did you debrand it? Either way, the phone does reset itself sometimes, it's a common problem that SE still has to fix unfortunately. It happens more often if you multi-task on the phone, e.g. listening music and running GPS or browse the web at the same time.

Inactive sim

This is a known design flaw with the w760i - it occurs when the phone requests info from the SIM (building contact list etc.) and the SIM connection is lost. This would happen on any phone but the w760i has a shock protection design issue whereby closing the slide quickly causes the SIM to disconnect. You should be able to replicate the issue by turning the phone on and slamming the slider shut as soon as the phone shows your network name. Leave the phone on for a bit and you will feel the phone buzz and 'Inactive SIM' will display, the phone will then reboot.
