When I downloaded the driver it said that the modem was working correctly. However, I tried to dial out on it and the computer said there was no modem. I replaced the modem with an exact duplicate, but after reinstalling the driver and then trying to dial out it says ERROR: Incompatible modem codec detected, please check your modem card.
This is a Motorola SM56 Speakerphone Modem and I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Can someone give me some suggestions?
