Can milk be frozen - Cooking

48 hours,after that you will loose nutrition quality, I have frozen as long as 4 days but the dr, suggest 48 hours,you cant keep in fridge more then 6 hrs though

I know many large family's that have been freezing milk for years,
it looks a bit strange as it defrosts but this is only due to the cream separating during the freezing process some of the family's will purchase a dozen two liter bottles or more at a time then freeze most of them for later use. I have even seen it where the wife will buy a dozen two liter bottles then the husband gets home and will pull another dozen out of his car and even then I have never know any milk to go to waste in the households, that is of course unless a careless act results in a spill however even then the family dog would get to do the cleanup and with pleasure.the trick is to remember to take the frozen milk out early in the afternoon the day prior to it being required as most times in large households the morning is a busy time and milk gets used for breakfast cereals, glasses of milk coffees etc. another thing is to ensure the milk is given a real good shake so as to mix the butter fats properly with the rest of the fluid. I would not hesitate to do it in my household if I had a larger family. However I am a single guy but have on occasion bought milk forgetting that I had already bought milk prior so have frozen it myself. besides which a thick shake is just that frozen milk. 1st try cleaning the condenser core cooling fins

try freeze then blend, then freeze again.
repeat the cycle few times to get the consistency of icecream.

Hello. begin by turning the fridge to a warmer setting. It could be that the frozen milk is also an indication that the water tubes feeding the ice maker and the water dispenser are either frozen or slushy.

that why it is called freezer, it supposed to frozen your food and make some ice on it, what is not supposed to build some ice is the allside of your freezer, but the food and others stuff should be frozen

Your defrost system has at least one part that's going out and freezing things up. OR if your milk is sitting directly in front of the air flow vent, that could do it. If so, you can move the milk away from the vent and possibly turn the t-stat up just a bit. Hope this solves your problem.

replace thermostat
