I assume you have a bad internal ethernet port and are looking to add an internal board..
Manual is here:
eMachines T3265 Manual

assuming you have a free pci slot, these will work:

SOURCE: Can't find a driver for the network / Ethernet

It's on the eMachines website...you just have to download the NVIDIA nForce Chipset Package...Then extract it and it will be the first folder in the package (Ethernet). The whole package is 35.3MB so it may take a few minutes to download depending on your internet speed. Hope this helps!

Where are the ethernet ports

Most desktops only have one ethernet port on their network interface cards. You can find this port on the back of the computer and is used for connecting to a network via an ethernet cable (CAT5/6/7). The port looks very much like a telephone port only larger as it has eight pins inside rather than than two or four for telephone ports.
What is the model number of the computer and we can check whether you should have more than ethernet port or not.

Emachine doesn't recognize the ethernet cord when plugged in

Sounds like the integrated ethernet port has gone bad. You can install a new ethernet card in one of the PCI expantion slots. Then plug the ethernet into the new card, this should take care of the problem. You can not repair a bad integrated ethernet port.

Emachine t3626 internet port can it be replaced

Absolutely!

The Ethernet port on your eMachines is part of the motherboard.
It is attached directly to the motherboard.

The eMachines T3626 Desktop PC, is supposed to use an
ECS MCP61-P (AM2) motherboard. (Cannot verify)
(Elitegroup Computer Systems. (AM2) refers to the processor socket )

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MotherBoard-eMachines-T3626-T5062-T5234-W3622-/320528791641

(Also scroll down for a larger photo of the motherboard )

The Ethernet port is in the group signified by the letter A, on the left.
The group signified by the letter A, is in the I/O area.

Input/Output area. This is where Input, and Output devices are attached, TO the motherboard. (Using the motherboard's chipset)

Now look down the motherboard, to the two long white slots.
These are PCI slots. Signified by the letter I ( i )
If one of these slots is not being used, plug in an Ethernet Card, that is PCI.

If both of these PCI slots are being used, use the small white slot above them, signified by the letter H.

This is a PCI-Express x1 slot. If it is available, use it.
Use an Ethernet Card designed to fit, in a PCI-Express x1 slot.

Example;

PCI Ethernet Adapter Card,

PCI-Express x1 Ethernet Adapter Card,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833106033

[ Note*
The PCI-Express x16 slot that you have, (Orange in color, above the white PCI-Express x1 slot), is for a graphics card.

It is ONLY for a graphics card.
The PCI-Express x1 slot is NOT used for a graphics card ]

For additional questions please post in a Comment.
(If you would like the proper procedure for installing a Ethernet Adapter Card, in your eMachines T3626, also state in a Comment)

Can we replace the video card in the emachine T3265?

Hi,

Yes, the computer comes with 1 agp 8x slot available. You want to look for video cards that are agp and 8x. Here's google's results for shopping for an 8x agp. When you get one, you will want to install it. If you haven't installed a component before go to HERE. and download the manual it will instruct you on how to open the case, but it won't tell you how to install the agp card. The expansion cards are the white plastic buses that face the back of the computer. You'll have to unscrew the one metal cover to allow the card to extent out to the back, and you will put the agp card in the brown bus next to the white ones. Don't put in the white ones, those are pci ports not agp. Once you get that done, make sure you screw the card down with the screw you took off the metal cover-plate, and then start the computer and put the cd rom in the drive. The rest it will walk you through.

Good Luck.

I NEED TO CONNECT AN ETHERNET CABLE FOR WIRELESS CONNECTION.CANNOT FIND A SUITABLE PORT!

Your computer should come equiped with an ethernet port. If it does not then you can get a male/female ended ethernet cable connector which can plug one end into USB and the other into an ethernet port.
