It may show as landscape on the screen but printer properties will have to be set to landscape if you want to print that way, the rotation is not automatically controlled.

Epson gts50 wont stop scanning until paper jam occurs

I just started having the same issue. However, I don't think the problems was understood. You can one sheet of paper; that's all you need to scan. The scanner will not stop until it has cycled through 8 scans and which point it will then prompt that a e1: Paper Jam has occured. You can hit ok and still safe the document, but it is annoying have to go through the cycles or hit cancel to stop the cycling (at which point you can then still save the scan). I believe Alan and I are both looking for a solution to resolve the issue.

Mine started after a serious paper jam. I am in a rather unique situation as I have to requested elevated priveledges to down load/update any drivers. So personnally I am trying to find a way to work around the issue.

Thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My Epson CX3810 all-in-one priner does not allow me to scan mulitiple document into one file. Each page is scanned as a seperate document.

The documentation is here: http://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/cx38__/cx38__ug/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm

You can scan multiple pages of a document on the document table and save them as one PDF file on your computer. Epson Scan displays an editing page so you can view the pages as you scan them and reorder, rotate, or delete them as necessary.

Select PDF as the file type setting.

When prompted "scanning complete.  Do you want to continue"  Click "add page"

The drop down menu does not give the option to have the picture scanned/saved jpg format which is necessary for certain sites such as shutterfly

Please follow the steps below to scan and save a Multi-Page PDF with Epson Scan.

1. Launch Epson Scan from your START, (ALL) PROGRAMS, EPSON SCAN.
2. If prompted, select your scanner model. Epson Scan will now launch.
3. Click the drop down arrow next to SCAN, select FILE SAVE SETTINGS.
4. Select PDF for IMAGE format. Click OK.
5. Click SCAN. Click OK to proceed (if prompted).
6. Once the image has scanned you will be prompted to click ADD PAGE or DONE.
7. Click ADD PAGE to scan more documents.
8. Once you have scanned all your documents, click DONE.
9. Your documents will now appear in the EDITING PAGE window. Click OK.
10. The multi-page PDF is now created.

Can't scan multiple pages into single document - reinstalled drivers but still can't - used to be able to. How do I fix this?

http://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/…

I think this says you need Professional Mode rather than Full Auto Mode.

Under File Save Settings in the Professional Mode, you should see buttons for Add Page / Edit Page / Safe File.

Basically, you keep adding pages then finish.

If you already have multiple .pdf files that you wish to combine, Acrobat Professional (not READER) can do that.

Good luck,

I copied the text but I think you won't be able to see the images here:

4. Select PDF as the file type setting. The current Paper Size, Orientation, Margin, and Compression setting are displayed below it.

5. If you need to change any of the current PDF settings, click the Options button. You see the EPSON PDF Plug-in Settings window:

Select the settings that match your document and click OK. You return to the File Save Settings window.
6. When you are finished selecting file settings, click OK. Epson Scan scans your page and displays this window:

7. If you are scanning only one document page, or you don’t need to edit your pages, click Save File and go to step 10.

If you are scanning multiple pages, click Add page and replace the first page on the document table with the second page and click Scan. Repeat this step for each page in your document. When you are finished, click Edit page and go to step 8.
8. You see the Editing Page window displaying thumbnail images of each scanned page:

If you want to include all the document pages in your PDF file as they currently look, go to step 9.
If you want to delete some of the pages, click the odd pages or even pages icons, or click the individual pages you want to delete. Then click the delete icon to delete them.
If you want to rotate pages, click the pages or use the odd pages, even pages, or all pages icon to select the pages. Then click the left or right rotate icon to rotate them.
Note:
The delete icon is not available when all document pages are selected.
9. When you have finished editing your document pages, click OK. Your document is saved in a PDF file in the location you selected and you return to the EPSON Scan window.

10. Click Close to exit Epson Scan. Source(s): http://files.support.epson.com/htmldocs/…
