SOURCE: how do I slow the speed of the 45s on my rowe

Hi,

The turntable motor on the jukebox range of R-84 to R-93 is none adjustable.
If you are in the USA then the motor operates on 60hz but in Europe it would have to be on 50hz to do this a different pulley is used.

The Rowe Ami part numbers are as followes:-

30791907 Turntable Motor Assembly 60hz
30791908 Turntable Motor Assembly 50hz
21817801 Motor Pulley 60hz
21817802 Motor Pulley 50hz

These can be ordered from a Rowe Ami dealer or you could try www.victoryglass.com

What is error code 1 on an NSM jukebox?

Not to sure about NSM jukeboxes but I know the AAMI jukeboxes have a button battery on the memory board that goes flat if the unit is not turned on for a while. This battery was troublesome and most people substituted a capacitor in its place. Might be a place to look. Cheers

Fix buffering on YouTube

It indicates that it is downloading the file but it will not download as fast as it is being used. Most systems will stop, but keep downloading until the buffer gets enough and it starts playing again. The buffer is a temporary storage in RAM memory.

My NSM Prestige jukebox keeps stopping mid play..after a while the 45 starts playing again. It'll play a single straight through and then it'll start to warble and stop again...Any advice would be hum

First check the relay that pulls in when a record loads up and the amps come on, the contacts may be dirty or burnt away, then another possible cause is the small spring under the turntable, is it stretched .Another relay check, thats the one that pulls in when you power up without playing. After all that, is it a loose wire to the mech or credit unit, if you pull a plug off and look at the end they can look ok but be broke inside.Let me know if you can Skype so i can explain better

My VCR tapes skip or only play in fast forward

If you are recording the tapes in a slow speed, then I would suspect that the tracking pulse is not being recorded properly. Since this is a new VCR, return it for an exchange. One of the recording heads is bad.

Olympus DS30 voice recorder play speed issue

Hi, the solution to the problem seems to be the following. When u press play, once, you get 1x play. If whilst playing you press play a second time the DS-30 goes into slow play mode, and if you press a second time it goes into fast mode. For those of us who accidentally went into either fast or slow mode, just press the play button again, during playback, until "play" appears on the LCD screen. Apparently it is as simple as that.
