I have a 92 chevy blazer 4.3 vortec eng. central port injection not tbi it has no injector pulse do you think its the cam sensor?

Not likely. The cam and crank sensor inputs are required for the ECM to provide spark. The fact that it starts with starting fluid would lead me to believe that those signals are present. You say there is no injector pulse. Did you test this? Or are you assuming that since you have fuel to the injector, but not into the cylinders? CPI systems only have one injector and they can fail. Also, while fuel may be present, if the pressure is not sufficient, the system will not operate. Here is a link describing the system and things you can check to diagnose problems. Lastly, the ECM itself could be the problem....

Is your "Service Engine Soon" light on?

Have you scanned for fault codes?

I would suspect low fuel rail pressure...caused by a tired fuel pump.

Before considering a faulty PCM see here for more information and diagnostic tips:

I have a chevy blazer 94 S10 still quit on the road.

How is it running before it quits onyou. This could be the culprit of an egr valve. How many miles on thevehicle. The egr seems to die on a certain mileage pattern. Also youcould start by cleaning the egr valve before replacing it. This couldvery well help the situation, but this is just a guess. Hope thishelps!!

1999 chevy blazer wont start

THE FUEL PUMP IS BAD.

if your losing fuel pressure after the pump runs the drain back valve in the pump has failed.

and i doubt that you are seeing enough fuel pressure to run a vortec engine.

low fuel pressure equals a non running vortec
