Most likely, the mainboard is cracked, not to mention other components may be as well.
What you need to do is to call your service provider and order a new one.
If there is no evidence of "Physical Damage", then it is defective and they will replace it free of charge (they may charge you shipping), as long as it's still under warrantee/you have device insurance through your service provider (usually about $5 per mo.).
Or, if they (your service provider) will not replace it, they may offer you a credit toward another phone/device.
If it is "physically damaged" You will have to buy a new phone most likely.
Honestly, unless you buy a broken phone same model...you cannot get a replacement screen.
Cell phones are mostly meant to be thrown away when something like cracking the screen occurs. With the exception of Iphones, Palm's (really expensive phones) which you can then have it replaced.
There is nothing you can do to fix it, I'm sorry to hear about your luck.Thank you for trying Fixya!
You can buy the LCD screen and repair it yourself. You will find the replacement part in the link below, as well as a video that explains how to install it:
I am not sure on your phone but the screen on my wife's u740 turned white right after I dropped it. I had to get a new phone because I didn't look into replacing the lcd first. That was the discription of my problem from verizon was a pressure crack in the LCD. I hope that helps.
