Hi there! To return the air director back into the dirt cup, rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to lock into place. To replace the pleated filter. Return filter cartridge to base of cleaner. Click button on filter cover back into place to lock filter cartridge in base of cleaner. Hope this helps! I have also included a link to the instruction manual for reference if needed. Thanks! http://dirtdevil.com/file/956/

Bisell 9500 replaced hepa filter vacuum not turning on

Some (not all) of them have a wire or switch that the filter must press back between the filter and the back of the vacuum. It prevents the vacuum from running unless the filter is installed correctly (they never tell customers about this)

My dyson v6 pulses when I put the filter back in

if fitting/ removing the filter makes a change ( filters no nothing but filter air), then the problem is the filter
if a new filter makes no difference to the problem , take it in to a sevice agent for repair

I took the filter out of my Windtnnel Pro Pet to clean it (not with water) I put it back in and now the vacuum wont turn on.

I'm going to guess that when you put it back together it didn't quite go back in correctly. There could be a switch that prevents it from turning on if the filter is not installed. Make sure that it is seated correctly. I hope thats all it is.

Ran my rainbow e series without the separator. What should I do now?

If you were not vacuuming, just running it on blower setting you should be alright. The Separator prevents large items from getting into the vacuum when you are vacuuming. There is a gasket there that protects the motor from water. Double check where the separator goes and make sure there is no gunk or debris there, if so clean it out before running. Being that you were able to run it without any problems, noises or smells I would say you are probably fine.

I just ran my rainbow e series accidentally without the separator. What should I do?

Your Rainbow should be o.k if you completely dried it out. But rinsing the hepa filter has usually not worked out well for most people (soory for that news) but good news is that they should last around 8 to 10 years with no rinsing.

Take apart power cable unwrap, unclip middle glass cylinder section to empty rubbish out, there should be a filter at the base that you can see now unclip clean put back, empty rubbish out of cylinder clean base and top rubber section and filter section with fine brush, use a wet cloth to wipe clean all black rubber suction connectors put back, at the back there will be a hose connector at the base unplug clean put back and make sure no debris is in any of the connectors and underneath where the floor brush is before you start puting it all back , Hope this helps

I removed the filter from the motor in the ball. After I cleaned it and let it dry, I put it back in. From then on, it makes a moaning noise when I turn it off after I vacuum. I followed directions to...

I would suggest getting a new filter. In my experience washing this type of filter can clog the pores so air can't pass through. I prefer to blow them out with a compressor. I would replace them at least once per year.

Which way does the final filter for the hoover u6430-900 go back?

It doesn't matter which way it goes but I recommend replacing it rather than cleaning it.
