Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
When I get an icoming call, the caller ID displays the phone number of the caller. How do I set up my phone so it displays the presons name - providing they are on my contact list?
Secondly, the audio quality is poor when trying to listen to a caller. Even with the volume all the way up I find it difficult to hear the caller sometimes and the callers voice seems to cut in and out.
Set up the callers in your contacts. You must have the area code for the name to show up. You must dial the area code for the name to show up when dialing out.
The hearing problem could be the person you are talking to, if your volume is all the way up. If you are sure that it is you I would talk to a motorola technician. Let me know how it goes.

This feature lets you know who is calling
without looking at the display.
To use this feature, you must:
- subscribe to a Caller ID service of
your service provider/telephone
- turn this feature on (page 24).
When caller information is received, the
handsets and base unit announce the
caller's name or phone number received
from your service provider/telephone
company following every ring.
The unit announces in English only.
L Name pronunciation may vary. This
feature may not pronounce all names
L Caller ID service has a limit of how
many characters can be displayed. If
the caller's name is too long, the
handset may not be able to display or
announce the entire name.
L The announcement is heard at the
same level as the ringer volume (page
L If you turn on the answering system
and set the number of rings "2
rings" (page 36), the unit does not
announce the caller information. If
"Toll saver" is selected and there
is a new message, the unit does not
announce the caller information.
