I forgot to save the last document that I printed. Is it possible for my printer to reprint it?

Sorry to say, nope.... The printer only has so much memory and it use's it and deletes it and continues to print it dos not have a hard drive to save any info.... If you still have the page, I would scan it to the computer and print it again... Good Luck

Scan document into text

Scanned documents are image documents and they need to be converted using an OCR program. The Optical Character Recognition program converts scanned image documents into a text file which you can open with a Word program and edit.
You need OCR programs such as -
OmniPage 17
ReadSoft
GOCR (freeware)
Tesseract OCR (freeware)
Microsoft Office Document Imaging (included in MicroSoft office Tools)

After I scan text, I cannot put it into a Word document, edit, or anything. I have an Epson 2400. thanks I do not have the scanner directions.

In order to scan to word so a document is editable you need to use Optical Character Recognition Software (OCR). You can download free ocr software from www.simpleocr.com Use that software and then either export once scanned to Word or Save as a Word document in the OCR application.

OCR

To scan a document for editing purposes, you will need OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software. OCR software is not included with your model.
OCR software interprets the scanned document for editing purposes. The Epson driver alone only scans documents as image files and is not capable of this interpretation.
Some reputable OCR software programs on the market are:
Omni Page Pro
ABBYY FineReader Pro
Presto! OCR 4.0
Please understand that Epson has NOT tested our products with these programs. They do not know if these programs are TWAIN compliant and will import directly from our scanners. I recommend that you contact these companies for full compatibility information if you are interested.
